Our rates

The hourly rates shown on this site are our real rates for the three crew sizes described. They are the only figures we quote. They are charged by the hour, with the online rate applying to moves booked ahead through us and the standard rate otherwise. The rates are current at the time of writing and may change over time.

Time estimates are estimates

When we give you a likely number of hours for your move, that is a good-faith estimate based on what you have told us about your pieces and your access. It is not a fixed price. The actual time depends on the real conditions on the day, which is exactly why we price by the hour rather than pretend to know a total sight unseen.

The Threshold Check and other tools

The Threshold Check, and any figures or guidance on this site, are general information to help you plan. The widths, dimensions and crew suggestions are typical ranges, not a measurement of your specific home or a guarantee about your specific furniture. Use them as a starting point, and let us confirm the details when we speak.

Getting in touch

Sending an enquiry starts a conversation; it does not by itself form a moving contract. The arrangements for your move, including the crew, the date and the rate, are confirmed with you directly before the work goes ahead.
