Real rates, no games

Priced by the hour, honestly

A move has too many variables for a fair fixed price sight unseen. So we charge by the hour at a stated rate, give you an honest time estimate, and would rather finish early than pad the bill.

One rate per crew, plainly

Each crew size has one hourly rate, the one shown on its card. No online-versus-standard split, no surcharge tucked behind a condition. The rate you see is the rate on the invoice, and the only variable is how many hours your move actually takes.

How the hours work

The clock starts when we start on your job and stops when we finish. A tidy, well-prepared move takes fewer hours, so the honest advice we give up front, about packing, access and parking, is also the advice that keeps your bill down. When we call you back, we give you a sensible estimate of how many hours your move should take, based on the pieces and the access you describe.

What we will not do

We will not invent a "from" price to look cheap, quote a fixed total for a move we have not seen, or add fees you were not told about. The three rates on this page are the only figures we quote. That is the plain-dealing part.

What changes the time

  • Access: stairs, a narrow hall or a booked lift all add handling time
  • Packing: done for you it is faster on the day, but it is time earlier
  • Big rigid pieces that need dismantling, like wardrobes and tables
  • Parking and carry distance from the door to the truck

The Threshold Check is the quickest way to see which of your pieces will add handling time, before you even call.
